Annual Art Show called Sweet Serenity in Nashville, TN

Art at Grassland Grill in Grassland, TN. Melanie has many paintings in the Grassland Grill located on Hillsboro Rd just Northwest of Franklin, Tn and Southwest of Nashville. Paintings that can be viewed at this location: Hopin' for 8, 32, Ready to Play, Breaktime, Piroette, Color in Harmony, Tools of the Trade and several others. Look for my art to pop up at other locations also.
Gallery closing: Melanie has closed the Leiper's Fork location and moving the Snortin' Horse Studio home which is still in the Leiper's Fork area. She is still actively painting, selling and showing her art. Keep up with all the trade fairs and art shows she will be attending right here on the website. RELOCATION and GALLERY OPENING: Melanie has recently relocated to the Nashville, Tennessee area and has opened a new gallery and studio at Leiper's Fork, a small historic town near Franklin. The opening is Wed, Feb 11, 2004. Hours are W-F:10-5; Sat: 10-5 and Sun: 1-5. Come watch Melanie paint at the Snortin' Horse Studio and browse the art and antiques in the area! Broke' In, one of Melanie's original watercolor paintings in the Western Washington Fair Juried art show, received the Director's Purchase Award. This painting is now a part of the fair's art collection. Reproductions are available.

April 11-13, 2003. “The Bond”, one of Melanie’s newest works,
is a lovely watercolor rendition of a tender moment between a dressage
rider and her mount. This work won an Honorable mention at the Associated
Arts of Ocean Shores 2003 Fine Art Juried Show in Ocean Shores, WA and
has been accepted into numerous other juried shows including Waterwork's
2003. During the USDF annual convention in December 2002, the American Warmblood Society chose Melanie’s watercolor entitled “USA Dressage” to be displayed in venues where the Society will participate in 2003.
